To commence the final presentation of the semester, we knew that we were producing this to pitch to the music students to see if they would want to work on the music for our game. I created an outline for Camilla and me to work from to hit all the main points of our game concept in our presentation.
- Basics of the game
- Intended audience and effect
- Storyline + character depth
- Visuals exploration
- Mockups and prototypes
I also did some idea generation whilst at work on post-it notes of what we could discuss about Incel Culture in our presentation.

We followed the previous document as well to aid in building up this game world.

I then produced two Pinterest Boards to aid the visual direction of this game, one for the character and one for the general environment. You can view these here and here.

Camilla and I then curated a Spotify playlist with sounds and genres of music soundtracks that are taking inspiration from for this project. This is immensely important for this presentation as it’s not only to showcase the concept, but to appeal to music students to maybe get them to produce music for our game.

Below is our final presentation!
We received feedback just from our tutors this time, as it is one of the most important stages of our work, meaning we need academic feedback, not just peer feedback.

From this, we found out that we did a good job with all aspects of our game and only need to add some refinements to our work going into the hand-in stage of the project proposal. We were reminded to focus on the ethical side of the game as well due to its heavy topics. A little technical pointer was made as well towards the moment-to-moment gameplay, as it’s a mini-game-based concept. This was useful as it gave us even more things to work on and expand on in our project proposal, which you can view here.
