Week 11

Thursday – Final Playtest

Personal Role:
We didn’t get as many testers as hoped/expected so I was on standby next to the playlets viewing each test and helping setup if needed.

Experience:
Our level was unfortunately broken as a GitHub error caused one of the final platforms to not have a collision shape. This meant players could not complete the level and fell through at the end.
Other than that there was minimal glitches and the quality of the level and visual style was at a near finished state that felt polished and player-ready.

Feedback:
Of course the main feedback was to fix the collision shape near the end which is unfortunate as it may have distracted the player from giving proper more open feedback. Overall the reception was positive though and the people that had played in previous playlists noticed and appreciate the improvements.
