{"id":475,"date":"2025-11-30T20:32:26","date_gmt":"2025-11-30T20:32:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/eo1u24\/?p=475"},"modified":"2026-02-10T14:50:45","modified_gmt":"2026-02-10T14:50:45","slug":"week-10-reflection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/eo1u24\/2025\/11\/30\/week-10-reflection\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 10"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Week 10 was dedicated to tutorials and catching up on the things that were not yet discussed with the teacher. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have shared my progress with the teacher and we have discussed some details of my game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key takeaways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>game elevator pitch: restoring the order of life by connecting with nature and animals through the world around you. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>use Figma instead of Twine for a prototype &#8211; more options and suits better for the way I want my game to work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the character\u2019s notebook is not a physical thing, rather depiction of her inner world and how she captures memories<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>each page of the notebook is dedicated to one animal &#8211; 2 pages per location &#8211; 6 in total<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>communication with animals is non-verbal &#8211; through physical and spiritual interactions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from tutorials, we were asked to walk around and ask other students to explain their games to us. The goal is to see how well people can understand your concept and learn how to explain it in simpler terms.
