But how do I plan these puzzles?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Planning the puzzles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blue Prince: Case Study<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Blue Prince was one of the first games I thought of when I thought of this puzzle mechanic:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The colour of the section\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Decided what operation to use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ring of the section\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Decided the order of operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The number of the section\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Decided what number to use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This could also be used with the night sky puzzle, but instead of colours of sections, it could be types of example<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, 8 of one star could mean one rightward turn from north (using the star compass discussed in <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/et4g23-yr3\/2026\/01\/10\/polynesian-culture-research\/\">this post<\/a>), plus two of another star means to turn left twice.
