similar core gameplay especially when it comes to the dungeons, the main takeaways I have from researching the gameplay of these games is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Varying enemies in the dungeons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The layouts of the dungeons change every time the player enters them\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>However, all of the rooms themselves are the same but are just randomly chosen from a list<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The player is able to upgrade the player character\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Whether it be from permanent upgrades, or per-run upgrades<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The rooms have different obstacles besides enemies, potential obstacles could be:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Spikes that deal damage to the player<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Walls that block player movement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Destructible walls, boxes, rocks etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Moving obstacles that deal damage\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Saw blade<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Moving Axes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turrets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The player can pick up items that heal
