Kowloon Walled City was a strategic stronghold of the ancient Chinese army and a small town built on a hillside.<\/p>

After World War II, a large number of immigrants flooded in, and Kowloon Walled City began to expand vertically.<\/p>

In just 7 acres of land, 33,000 people lived. It was one of the most densely populated areas on Earth at that time.<\/p>

Due to the political environment at that time and the issue of power ownership in the colonies, this place became an enclave.<\/p>

The governments of the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom are either unwilling or legally unable to enforce the law here.<\/p>
