Setting: 2056 / dystopian future/robots have replaced most human labour
Main characters: Cole and E.V.E
Backstory:
Cole is an ex-military who was born and raised in the army. His only friends were his comrades, but they all lost their lives after a failed operation. After that, Cole asked for discharge and retired from the army. He took his job as a security guard for a girl named Ana just to get himself busy and suppress his trauma. Ana is deaf and can only communicate with Cole in sign language, then her butler would translate it for Cole. Ana’s butler does not seem to like Cole, with his rough exterior and lack of communication, so when being asked to translate Ana’s words, he always says it’s nothing important or intentionally mistranslates, so Cole would receive the wrong messages.
Rising Incident:
One day, Ana decided to go on a holiday. She said she would go for a week, but has not come back in months. Then Cole received an emergency package sent to Ana’s house, a robot codename E.V.E., armed with the most advanced weapon system. Then he heard on the news that there is a robotics plague had occurred. Nanobots were released in the air to clean it has somehow been corrupted, eating away at both human and robot minds. Cole now has to travel with E.V.E. to find out what has happened to Ana.
Journey of connection:
Whoever sent E.V.E. to Ana must have known about the outbreak. Moreover, E.V.E. can only read hand gestures, so she has clearly been designed to serve Ana. Cole now has to learn hand gestures to cooperate with E.V.E., and slowly, he would find out the true meaning of what Ana meant to say to him before.
