Hey! Welcome to my Year 2 Semester 2 Blog!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this blog you will find the process behind my participation in this game development. I will be working alongside Izzy, Maja and Paula on Riya’s game: Violet’s Dates but I will get more into that in a moment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2661This module focuses on developing a small snippet of a game (vertical slice). The games we are creating are one of our peers game ideas using their GDD to guide us.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2661We will be working in a close-knit team where we are expected to each have our own role to successfully produce a vertical slice.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2661The teams for each \u201cVertical Slice\u201d will be set up in the form of a small indie game operation, working under roles of Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO), your own role will determine the specific nature of your work.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2661Our portfolio should consist of all studio work <\/strong>developed over the course of the semester, including evidence of workshop and tutorial activities, all sketchbooks, research, annotation and preparatory material alongside outcomes as directed.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assessment<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Assessment: portfolio (100%) – summative<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n
