Character Overview

The Watcher is the player-controlled character in the game world —
a quiet observer who walks through the Eternal Night, collecting fragments of forgotten memories.

Rather than a hero or savior, the Watcher exists as a witness and a companion to the world,
experiencing ordinariness, loss, and persistence through small encounters.

Visual Identity & Silhouette

The Watcher is designed with a soft, child-like silhouette,
emphasizing vulnerability, approachability, and emotional openness.

Rounded proportions and simplified clothing help the character remain readable
across different lighting conditions and camera distances.

Hair Variations – Player Choice

Two hair-length variations are provided for the Watcher.
This choice does not affect gameplay mechanics, but offers players a subtle way
to project their own identity onto the character.

The intention is not customization for optimization,
but personal resonance and emotional comfort.

Night Form Design

""

In the Eternal Night, the Watcher’s eyes emit a soft glow.
This is not a unique power, but a shared biological trait within the world —
allowing individuals to recognize one another in darkness.

The glowing eyes serve both a narrative function and a visual system cue,
reinforcing presence, orientation, and companionship in low-visibility environments.

Design Philosophy

Why the Watcher Looks Ordinary？
The Watcher is designed to look ordinary.
There are no dramatic costumes or heroic symbols.
This ordinariness reflects the game’s central belief:
that quiet persistence and everyday presence can carry profound meaning.
Through the Watcher, the player does not conquer the world —
they walk alongside it.
