An oven with a large pot of gruel sat outside, with several makeshift metal chimneys attached. Tables and fairy lights help create a welcoming atmosphere for survivors and families to get together and build morale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized has-custom-border\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"765\" height=\"746\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/03\/image-86.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1686\" style=\"border-radius:100px;width:295px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/03\/image-86.png 765w, https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/03\/image-86-300x293.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 765px) 100vw, 765px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I began blocking in the colours, making sure to focus on the oranges of the food camp colour pallet. I moved the bins to the back so the smell wouldn&#8217;t disturb the food (an extremely important addition).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized has-custom-border\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"715\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/03\/image-87.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1687\" style=\"border-radius:100px;width:295px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/03\/image-87.png 715w, https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/03\/image-87-300x269.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 715px) 100vw, 715px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I added highlights and texture to the camp, making sure to consider where the light would hit surfaces, which surfaces may be charred from cooking smoke, and where rust could form. I kept the tables looking relatively clean to prevent the spread of disease and sickness to survivors (again a very important consideration!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Finished design:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized has-custom-border\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"462\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/03\/image-83.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1670\" style=\"border-radius:100px;width:295px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/03\/image-83.png 462w, https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/03\/image-83-289x300.png 289w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 462px) 100vw, 462px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final design added lamps, lights, fire, steam, bowls, cups, bottles, utensils, and a big sign saying FOOD &#8211; in case the survivors couldn&#8217;t figure it out on their own. These additions helped to make the camp feel lived in and functioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am really pleased with this design, I love the warm energy and soul it provides to the survivor camp.
