Unfortunately on the morning of the showcase we received a message from Joe saying there was no build of the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"526\" height=\"219\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/05\/image-29.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1901\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/05\/image-29.png 526w, https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/05\/image-29-300x125.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 526px) 100vw, 526px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The showcase did not go very well for our game, as we had to use our second playtest version, despite having added so much more to the game since that state. This version took a long time to get to work on the computer, and eventually wasn&#8217;t played. It was quite a sad moment as we had all put in so much work, including the merch, for nobody to play the game. But in the end we were able to hand out all our merch for free, so at least we had something to show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"659\" height=\"879\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/05\/image-30.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1904\" style=\"width:556px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/05\/image-30.png 659w, https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rf2g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/05\/image-30-225x300.png 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 659px) 100vw, 659px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I took the time to have a look at everyone&#8217;s game and felt so proud of what everyone was able to achieve! The amount of polish on all the games was extraordinary, you could really see how much work each team had put into their games.
