- For art, I had to rush it more towards the end since I got occupied a lot with coding.
Environment art:

When creating environmental art, I decided to use Adobe Illustrator since I’ve previously used it and can somewhat work my way around it. Also at the time, I felt like silhouettes would be most fastest make to but also that this was an art style I was thinking of doing previously.

This art was used for scene 2, I was inspired by multi-layered art and I liked the overall simplistic look too it.

The siren cave scene was also layering but it took me while to a create a full design since I usually make sure it a repetitive patterned, I liked pushing myself to create fuller background.
S1 development cave :
These were the initial colours, I was planning to use but I wanted something no darker so I decided to redraw the entire scene with spikes and using different effects.

This became the final design, I layered the spikes and used the drop shadow tool to give it a more dramatic effect. Overall, I really ended up liking the cave environment.

More variations for the forest as the player continues deeper into the game.
The visual cue designs :

I wanted both visual cues to be very noticeable and because there is so much happening within the scenes. I wanted to make a visual cue that would stand amongst the background, hence why I gave them a white outline which has a paper texture.

The siren :
