It helps set up the rules for that world and prevents magic to be too overpowered. I looked into some to see how they explore it..<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Rules help the world feel more structured it also gives a better understanding of the magical world the the viewer. <br>It could also help set the tone for the world. Usually, there are moral guidelines for magical rules that must be adhered to in order to prevent individuals in positions of authority from treating others unfairly.<br><\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"> Typically when a user uses magic it comes from a source like a stamina bar, this is so magical users aren&#8217;t too overpowered and having a price \/ cost will make using it more meaningful. It appears to be a typical magical girl anime, but its&#8217;s  more sinister and plays with multiple realities. I found the limitations of this anime really fascinating, as one of the girls becomes some type of deity by the end and even the overall different art style.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5 wp-block-paragraph\">How does magical power \/ rules come into play?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-5fb07882 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The way it works is teenagers, generally 14 years old being contacted by a powerful entity named &#8216;Kyubey&#8217; the picture displayed on the left. In exchange for fighting witches, this cat promises to fulfil one wish.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When watching this show, it started off extremely cryptic but as you continue you progressively see more of the horror side of this anime.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.pinimg.com\/736x\/e7\/cf\/d0\/e7cfd0a8c122d9bdaed843f8983f0b96.jpg\" alt=\"This may contain: an animated image of a white pokemon sitting in front of a cityscape with confetti falling from the sky\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.pinimg.com\/originals\/ec\/f9\/f1\/ecf9f129d7a4636a6f5eb5bfc4204242.gif\" alt=\"This may contain: a white cat with red eyes standing in front of a dark sky and cityscape\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6 wp-block-paragraph\">What&#8217;s unique about their limitation \/ rules and cost system?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> Loop : Make a wish  \u279c Become a magical girl \u279c Fall into despair \u279c Becoming a witch \u279c death by another magical girl <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What&#8217;s interesting is that when Kyubey offers a wish, the cat states being able to grant any wish no matter how powerful or how crazy so there&#8217;s no limitations for it. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As you watch more of the show, you see the real side of Kyubey. While you think this cute cat wouldn&#8217;t be deceiving. It was actually the main antagonist of the series, tricking innocent girls into becoming magical girls and while you think being a magical isn&#8217;t bad, you soon find out when you accept the deal of becoming a magical girl, you actually die and the soul gem given to you is your soul, if you grief too much your soul gem becomes a grief seed, which hatches you into a witch. So, when  you agree to become a magical girl you are destined to die and become a witch. I believe this was helpful because it gave me a better grasp about how limitations and rules could play a big part of making a good story.
