At this point, the game idea exists as a concept supported by early planning and research, to further develop it through prototyping. The concept covers current trends in game design, specifically the rise of narrative games that prioritise player engagement. I was mainly inspired by prior research from existing 2D story-driven games like Little Misfortune and Franbow. The game research helped to make sure that future story idea decisions should have a meaningful link to the overall story so it will be more engaging for the players overall, and although the game is just a idea, I’ve tried to use industry-supported methods: such as sketching visuals, creating prototypes, brainstorming, S.C.A.M.P.E.R technique (substitute, combine, adapt, modify, put to another use, eliminate, reverse), inspiration from other mediums and real life. I did this because I wanted to try and engage with industry-supported methods for game ideas. I also wanted to explore the moral impacts of my game idea, specifically whether they would help another character in the story by appearance without judgment or consequences. Hence, I included characters like the sheep and the wicked wolf in the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2196\" height=\"1044\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rl5g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2026\/01\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"has-border-color has-pale-pink-border-color wp-image-4058\" style=\"border-width:4px;border-radius:47px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rl5g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2026\/01\/image.png 2196w, https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rl5g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2026\/01\/image-300x143.png 300w, https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rl5g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2026\/01\/image-1024x487.png 1024w, https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rl5g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2026\/01\/image-768x365.png 768w, https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rl5g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2026\/01\/image-1536x730.png 1536w, https:\/\/sites.wsagames.com\/rl5g23\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2026\/01\/image-2048x974.png 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2196px) 100vw, 2196px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
This was the second most popular game idea in the survey.
