I decided to combine two topics (Folklore and magic). I created another mind map using the lotus blossom technique from week 1 of magic and folklore. To give myself a starting point.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2 wp-block-paragraph\">But why combine these two topics?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The majority of folklore stories have supernatural events occurring or a creature having supernatural abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They both use rules, rituals, and consequences, and have evolved, with many interpretations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\">What will I focus on now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I&#8217;ll still largely focus on folktale stories. I specifically am leaning towards fairytales, since I like the whimsical, dreamlike illusion they give. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Folklore stories are frequently inconsistent and evolve throughout the years, so I&#8217;ve decided that maybe having ambiguity within the game would reflect this.
