To diversify the options, I decided to add a physical game alongside the two digital ones. A board game would be a good choice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the second semester, my team and I developed a board game. While the process was engaging, the precision of the game boards and cards was limited by our current production capabilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ordinary paper is difficult to craft with fine detail, so I began considering whether we could use other materials, less precise, but compensating in other ways, to produce the components needed for the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I thought of a material I often used during the foundation year: felt fabric. Back then, I made a project using felt, and I found that although the material\u2019s details weren\u2019t particularly fine, its unique texture and fabric qualities effectively masked the roughness of handmade work. Therefore, if I ultimately decide to make this board game, I will use felt to craft the game board, cards, and other essential pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game board is divided into four main sections, each of which is further split into four smaller areas. All the smaller areas are hollow circles (with an art style of the fairy ring), with a face-down identity card placed in the center. Each main section contains one Boss card<\/strong> and three Challenge\/Opportunity\/Battle cards.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before the game begins, players need to prepare. First, without being given any information, they roll four four-sided dice<\/strong> to determine the positions of each Boss<\/strong>. The remaining cards are then placed randomly by the DM.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

After completing the steps above, players roll two four-sided dice<\/strong> to determine the first small area they will enter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the roll immediately sends the player to the final Boss area<\/strong>, the DM rolls two dice again and redirects the player to a different small area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once Boss locations are fixed, players are prevented from entering the final Boss area until all other areas have been explored. Any roll that lands on the Boss area before this condition is met instead prompts the DM to reroll and send the player to an unexplored area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to the final Boss area is only granted after all remaining areas are cleared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
