I also applied a reversed playback effect to part of the original animation to add a new layer of narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Rose\u2019s diary closes once more, the warmth of her mother, Laura, fades away, signalling that everything before the closing was just a memory.
