She believes that narrative design is not just about writing plots or dialogues, but more like designing the way players experience stories. Especially in reasoning games, the real difficulty is not &#8220;writing a good case&#8221;, but how to let players discover clues, generate reasoning, and maintain a sense of participation in the process. She mentioned that traditional detective stories are usually strictly controlled by the author&#8217;s information and rhythm, but the behaviour of players in the game is unpredictable, so designers must constantly find a balance between &#8220;free exploration&#8221; and &#8220;proper guidance&#8221;. In her speech, she also listed examples of &#8220;Return of the Obra Dinn&#8221;, &#8220;Sherlock Holmes: Crimes &amp; Punishments&#8221;, &#8220;The Witcher 3&#8221; and other works, which made me understand the good recommendation. The game is actually more like designing the player&#8217;s thinking process, rather than just telling a story.<\/p><p><strong>Tuesday<\/strong><\/p><p>We are already preparing for the test this week.
