Week 3 Design Process & Early Exploration
Emotion & Design Intention
In Week 3, the focus moved toward understanding how emotional intention can guide early game design. Through the Emotion Worksheet and the MDA framework, I explored how abstract feelings such as fear, tension, or calm can be translated into structured design thinking. This exercise reinforced the idea that emotion should be considered at the beginning of the design process rather than treated as a secondary outcome.

Prototyping & Communication
This week also introduced spatial prototyping using ProBuilder. By working with simple grey-box structures, I explored how layout, circulation, and vertical space can communicate gameplay possibilities before visual detail is added. The pitch presentation further emphasized the importance of clearly communicating design intent, helping me reflect on how ideas are framed and explained during early development stages.
