Week 3

On Monday, we discussed the importance of teamwork. One point the instructor shared that I strongly agree with is that during teamwork, it’s essential to schedule breaks for yourself and your team members. You can’t expect yourself and others to work endlessly.

During subsequent discussions with each team, I mentioned that although I am the TA, I don’t have to wait for the art assets to be completed before starting the project. I can first create a simple gray-box test to check the code’s feasibility. Therefore, I started planning and preparing to create the code that we might use later.

Presentation

In this week’s presentation, we created a road map to explain our group’s schedule for the month. This clearly shows what each person needs to do in each time period.

It looks a bit messy, but everyone can clearly see what they need to do. The road map might show that we are all very busy, but we will reserve enough rest time for ourselves, and we will also anticipate the things we might need help with.

However, this is only a brief prediction of when we might need help, and it’s not 100% accurate. Therefore, we will continue to communicate to ensure everyone can complete their tasks.

My work

Also this week, I created a GitHub group and invited Cici to join, because we might need to work on code together later, and it would be convenient to sync our work to each other’s computers.
