Because of the feedbacks about predators during the 1st test period was generally good, and that the basic gameplay of hiding from predators at this stage is working. so I am conducting Make a model of the scene and gradually replace the geometry I used in 1st test.

Food

When I was doing the playtest, because it was the first version of the test, I used the capsule body that came with unit instead of food, and found that it would make players confused, and even if it is known, it has no initiative to touch it.

So I build some Basic foods:

  • Fruit

  • Biscuit

  • Chicken legs，

They corresponding to three different satiety values as they have different sizes.

These can make it easier for players to understand “These things are edible”.

    ""

    ""

    ""

    Environment

For the same reason, players need to know what is hiding place for them, The natural hidden place of the grass and the narrow area under the desk and chair are exactly the places where players imagine this little creature will hide.

So I build these scenery objects:

    • Tables and chairs

    • Long tables and benches,

    • Stalls in the market ,

    • Fish tanks (game task object)

    • Grass

    • Bus stop(Goal)

      ""

      ""

      ""

At the same time, to make the environment look more reasonable, I also got decorative models:

      • Ticket gates

      • Trees

      • Fountain

      • …

        ""

        ""

        ""

I also took some photos as a basis to process them into square continuous graphics Used as texture in the game

Most of the textures of my ground and grass are composed of textures, which can greatly reduce the consumption of scene.

And allow me not to spend too much time, in the modeling of objects, I can directly use these maps and materials, and build scenes that can be used in Unity with simple geometry.

So after this, my game looks like this.

        ""

        ""

        ""

I also fixed my scene design when I placed and replaced these items.
