Project Management Changes and Project Status:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the final week of the project, so I need to ensure that all the game\u2019s art assets, code and dialogue are completed and work together to form a complete gameplay experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All character dialogue and the programme are currently perfectly synchronised, ensuring that players can trigger dialogue correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, working with Lee, I also completed all the 2D animations and programming for the NPCs. When players encounter an NPC, a dialogue can be successfully initiated and the tension level increased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At present, the game is still missing the art assets for the safe house, self-checkout machines and character huts. I discussed this with Derry last week and asked him to complete the art assets for the self-checkout machines and safe house by this Tuesday, and to finish importing all art assets by this Friday. However, Derry has not completed the art assets within the agreed timeframe. Due to time constraints and delays from team members, I have had to re-plan the project management and have decided to cut the toilet section from the character\u2019s cottage, as this part serves a purely decorative purpose and there are no mechanics requiring the toilet to be completed, so it can be omitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have once again formally informed Derry of my new project management plan. As this is the final week, I have made it clear to him that the work must be completed on time; there is simply no room for further delays. My plan is to complete the import of all the supermarket art assets, along with some of the character hut art assets, by Thursday. I intend to finish all parts of the character huts by next Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I haven\u2019t received any art assets, I\u2019ve decided to focus on implementing the suggestions players made during last week\u2019s test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
