I referenced a site that gave me a guideline to starting a GDD. As I developed, I found it easier to visualise my game and started getting ideas which made me revise it further. This is the drafts final stage. The skeleton of a GDD which I fleshed out mainly with developing the narrative and then following that.
In fact, I think the narrative are really the pillars of the game, at least this one specifically. I dont like what game pillars are supposed to be, because most of the time they’re written to be quite vague. So I never even thought about the pillars when adding anything to the game. Instead, everytime I thought I should add something, I found it easier to think: “Is it relevant to the story?”. The narrative is so much more important to me. Storyline-Dialogue-Persona

I had ideas for a rough timeline and effort that was needed to make this game. Although I agree with it, the more I developed the brief, the more I understood this game is a huge project. Seems like the nature of all GDD’s.
