Multiplayer Map Greyboxing

During this Tuesday session with Ross, we had to use Unity’s Probuilder to rapidly create and prototype maps.

My finalised map eventually ended up looking like this:

My thoughts while creating this map were to have two teams, each spawning on the left and right side of the map. This would encourage longer lines of sight and the differences in elevation to be used as coverage. There was also an underground area that players would be able to use as a route to flank the enemy.

Once our maps were complete, we were able to push the changes we made to the repository and then all play a Free-for-all FPS match against each other on our maps.

We also played on Parker’s map, which had really cool lighting, but I forgot to take a screenshot of it.
