Presenting my research

Coming into the third week of the project, we had the goal of discussing our research projects in 8 minutes – 2 minutes per topic – to our class and gaining some feedback on our ideas.

This feedback can be used to explore different aspects of our research topics that we may not have originally looked into. Similarly, this feedback can help improve our public speaking.

Below is a link to all the feedback I receieved for my presentation:

The most important thing to come out of this presentation is what research topic I want to take forward for the next phase. Looking back on my research I’ve completed already as well as what I find most interesting as a potential game idea, I feel like Sea Monsters is the way to go. This is backed by a lot of my feedback reflecting a high general interest in Sea Monsters as a topic, followed closely by Elderly addiction, however, I feel like this is slightly skewed opinion as it is a less talked about topic.
