Senior Games Designer
Bea is a senior games designer working at Kwalee. I couldn’t find much online about Bea and her personal life, as a result I didn’t have questions to prepare beforehand. However, this wasn’t much of a problem as at the end of her talk, I asked her one anyways. I asked her a question about interview questions, concerning the safety of minorities in companies.
“Would it be rude to ask the safety of women and POC in the company? Or is that something that should be worded a lot more polite?”
To which she said that it isn’t rude, and that you’ll find a lot of POC in the workforce, as for women there aren’t that many (in her company). She then gave a rough statistic of women in her company and it shocked me, only 5% of the entire company are women.
