Weekly Goal Planning:
I decided it would be important to plan out my time and goals for the end of the week to stay on track, reduce stress and avoid working during rest time. I will have a weekly goals section on every week of my blog posts so I can monitor my progression over the year.

Brainstorming ideas:
We started Monday’s lesson by brainstorming ideas, asking ourselves 6 questions:
- What makes us laugh
- What makes us cry
- What makes us angry
- What makes us excited
- What are our interests
- What stimulates us intellectually

We discovered a lot about ourselves in this exercise, mainly that we get angry a bit too much. We used our brainstormed points in our Lotus Blossom exercise.

The Lotus Blossom technique – coming up with topic ideas:
It took me a while to actually get this brainstorming method right. Here is my first attempt where I wrote separate points for each branch:

Second attempt – I used only one point from my original mind map and continued like that, sometimes just starting from completely random words when I felt like it.

I continued working with the lotus blossom technique to come up with topic ideas and fuel my research after class:

Year 2 feedback:
I wanted to make a note of my year 2 feedback so I could be mindful of how to improve my work this year.
