Genevieve will be developed for the PC, which is easy to access for many and a conventional choice for a point-and-click game. With the development of 3D graphics and modern gaming, arguably, point-and-click games have become less popular. However, with the genre still thriving with indie game developers, it attracts a niche but steady audience interested in branching narratives and decision-making. Early and flash dress-up games were primarily played on PC, and that element in Genevieve will lend itself to those familiar controls. There is a possibility for it to come to consoles in the future.
