First Presentation – 12.02.2026

Written by Ollie

For our third week, we were tasked with giving a class presentation to update our fellow classmates and tutors on the progress we had made so far; for this, Lettie was in charge of creating the base slides, but we all additionally created one of our own to show our individual progress.

We tried to even out who would narrate each slide: of course, all of us would talk through our own, but on the more general slides like the vertical slice overview, road map etc. we would take it in turns to present.

Lettie opened the presentation by introducing us over the title slide, as well as giving an overview of our roadmap; I talked though the vertical slice slide, and Misty went through our team plan for next week.

Our presentation was seemingly recieved well by our peers! We had three responses/questions: firstly from Erik, who ________.

Yushan then followed up by asking about how we handle communication; it was highlighted as one of our greater strengths within our group. We explained our schedule of weekly meetings (that is, every Tuesday and Friday at 1pm) and our prominent use of Slack for online communication.

Finally, Adi – after very kindly wishing our group the best – asked what our contingency plans are in the case that one of us was unable to work. We responded by explaining how we had divided our workload between the two groups: myself, Misty and Yuila on the tech side, and Lettie and Xuan on art. With this shared structure of work, we would be able to cover for each other if one was to fall under ill conditions.
