For the Professional Contexts module, we will have a guest speaker come in every Thursday in order to give insights into the industry and to give our class an opportunity to ask valuable questions and to take feedback on our CVs/portfolios.

I really want to take advantage of this since it’s also a great excuse to network and meet alumni that may help me out in the future. So I’ll prepare with questions and materials including previous work I’ve done in order to fully realise this module. I think coming in a few hours on the Thursday gives me enough time to do the preparation and also outline the blogs we’ll have to type up later.

The first person coming in is a concept artist called Olivia Gregory, which is great as art and design is one of my stronger skills.
