12/03/2026 – Formative Feedback Session
I had a one-on-one conversation with my tutor Vanissa about how my project had gone so far, with her giving me feedback to address in the remainder of semester 2.
We briefly talked over the progress of our group project, Soul Keeper, of which there was actually quite little to say. With the exception of Yulia, who was struggling to stay consistent with her communication with the team, we were getting on exceptionally well, and were in a very fortunate position with our game development: we were very much on schedule, and had just used week 6 to refine our game using the feedback we got from our intital playtest the week prior.
The main topic of interest was my personal and team WordPress sites, which I had admittedly been neglecting over the first half of the semester. During our conversation I made a series of notes on what to improve on regarding my blogs:
- Organise main page: add drop-down menus for semesters, post catergories, a dedicated home page with a personal intro.
- Role research: create a blog post about the role I’ve been attributed in Soul Keeper, and what I can learn from similar industry roles.
- Continue to cross-reference pages.
- Cross-reference our shared Soul Keeper site.
- Reference conversations from Slack and other tools we have used to communicate.
- Reference GitHub specifically in development pages – use as evidence of collaboration with Misty.
- Create a dedicated page on the Soul Keeper website for my personal developments.
Going into the second half of the semester I will try to make my WordPress sites and blog posts a greater priority, and use the fortunate position we are in with Soul Keeper’s ongoing development to attribute more time to the former, and address the feedback I have acclaimed from this session.
Week 7 Developments
Over week 7 I have not made any notable progress on my development of Soul Keeper, as my time and effort was strictly honed in on the development of this WordPress site. Over the Easter break, I also do not plan to make any significant advancements on Soul Keeper as we have been given strict instructions from our tutors not to do so.
