Project Structure:
I am relatively inexperienced in time management and project planning, and I tend to procrastinate, which is a challenge I need to overcome next semester. Since I am independently developing this game, many tasks cannot be carried out simultaneously, making time management particularly critical. Therefore, I plan to adhere strictly to the following projected schedule next semester, aiming to keep any deviations within one week. (These plans may be adjusted according to the specific schedule of the second semester.)
- A Midsummer Night’s Cat Development Timeline Draft
| Task / Process | Estimated Time |
| Story Further Improvement | Week 1-2 |
| Art Further Improvement | Week 1-3 |
| Level Design | Week 3-5 |
| Sound Design | Week 3-5 |
| Unity Development | Week 3-13 |
| Testing and Iteration | Week 13-15 |
| Final Polish and Release | Week 15-16 |
Since there is a small number of characters in the game and the fairy-tale narrative is relatively simple, I plan to execute these two tasks simultaneously. Also, even if the level design is not yet complete, Unity development can proceed in parallel, focusing primarily on aspects outside of the core mechanics, such as dialogues and narrative content.
