Paper Prototype
A paper prototype I made for the Prologue of Vengeance Incarnate. It is a visualization of the space where the player will begin the game (in the area named ‘center’, circled with green). The paper prototype was mainly necessary to create Inky Prototype – the player will be tasked with finding their way to the white door and the creature sat next to it, so that they can progress in the game. On the prototype below the location with the white door is marked with a pink cross and a green square around it. Additionally, throughout the journey to the white door, the player will be able to collect memories from their past life and watch them. Items such as rag doll or bracelet with pink stone will also serve the role of immersing the player into the narrative further.

Inky Prototype
Below I present two videos of the prototype I made in Inky. The first one shows a more realistic gameplay that assumes that the player will wander around Afterlife at first, before they are able to find the white door.
In the second video I show the way leading straight to the white door. It aligns with the paper prototype above.
In the 3D version of the game any memories or items found along the way will be added to the inventory that can be accessed at all times.
