02.10.2025 – Introduction to Professional Contexts

On Thursday Adam introduced us to our second subject, Professional Contexts. During these sessions we will have the opportunity to meet professionalists from different sectors of the Game Design industry and learn about their experience.
Later on, he went on to talk about tips on how we can increase our chances of employability by preparing business cards, CVs, covering letters and portfolios. This summary was quite useful as designing business cards is something I had never thought about before. Moreover, some of the pointers on CVs and portfolios clarified any doubts I might have previously had – start strong, end strong leaves no room for doubt that the portfolio should only contain the best of my works.
