This week was feedback week so no lectures took place, however, we were given the opportunity to present our ideas to Vanissa to receive some feedback.
PowerPoint slides:

To show Vanissa the ideas I had came up with so far I created a draft powerpoint, covering most aspects of a Game Design Document.
Feedback:
- Mechanics- Vanissa said for my next steps I need to begin thinking about how the mechanics in the game works. Her main concern was how the anxiety meter worked and the different puzzles for each room. Will certain mechanics be repeated like an escape room?
- Major and minor focuses- She also asked me what my major and minor focuses were this semester, meaning what I aim to improve and what I’m already good at. My major focus is my narrative writing as well as mechanics. My minor focus is creating concept art. Although art is something I always aim to improve on, it will not be my major focus this semester.
Other suggestions:
- Play/watch escape room games- Vanissa suggested to watch or play some games with escape-room like mechanics to move forward with mechanics featured in my game.
- Artist research- Look into other artists to influence my character and environment design.
