Gameplay:
Below The Break is a 2D puzzler-adventure game, where the player is locked in an underwater-themed room. In total, there are 5 rooms you must navigate and unlock. Each room will have a puzzle you must complete to move forward. It’s initially like an escape room however you are all alone.
Each puzzle will have a different theme based on the 5 stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. As you go from room to room the colours will become more vibrant, indicating the player is gradually coming to a better mental state.
