Week 1
What is a GDD?
A Game Design Document (GDD) is a document that serves as a blueprint for your game idea. It helps define what your game idea is and sets the general direction for the project.
A GDD is usually presented in front of a group of people to show off your idea.
GDD Examples:
Apocalypse

Doom

Rogue Legacy

In these Game Design Documents there’s many aspects covered so someone could pick up the generalised idea of the game idea.
Most headings that are covered in these GDD’s are demographics, platforms, rules/tools, the end game state and some example drawings of what some parts of the game may look like. I can use these GDD examples to help me create my own.
