Today we only had a workshop in the afternoon, whilst the morning was for researching our final theme. At this point, I had done the majority of my research already, so I used my morning to format all of it properly in my Word document.
In the afternoon we completed two tasks, which were both fun and helpful. For our first task during the workshop session, we each used blank slates with our chosen theme. Blank slate meaning we had to pretend our theme didn’t exist, and now suddenly it’s being talked about. So for this activity I cut out words, headlines and images from old magazines and newspapers related to the paparazzi and how it would be interpreted if it suddenly appeared.

For the next activity, in groups of three, we had to choose one theme to focus on where each one of us played an important role (Scientist, Politician and Philosopher). With our chosen theme, we each had to make a statement in our roles, and either be for or against the theme. Me, Izzy and Maja chose to do Izzy’s theme of “serial killers” and take a different spin on it. We chose to go against it, however everything stated is to be taken lightly!
