At the end of phase one we presented i presented my research to my classmates, sharing what i had been working on and what topics i had chosen to research at this stage. This was a great opportunity providing me with not only inspiration from my peers presentations but also feedback from both my peers and professor. This allowed me to better understand their thoughts regarding my work, and gave me a chance to see what themes people may like and be more interested in then others.

My presentation was just a showcase of everything i had learnt in the past few weeks in a shorter, more consumable format. I wanted it to be informing but I also had to fit everything into my 8 minuet time slot. Not to mention keeping the facts and information shorter meant i was less likely to bore everyone!
Feedback
Although i wouldn’t describe the feedback i received to be extensive it was still a really valuable thing to gain from this experience. Considering the less formal setting a lot of the feedback simply consisted of how people felt about each topic, honestly i find this to be influential sometimes compared to more factual based feedback. It gave me a better idea for what topic would truly capture the interest of a player.

Most of the interest in the feedback was surrounding the theme of animals, directly showing me that this topic should be something to delve deeper into moving forwards. Some people noted different species of animals that also have strong and interesting social bonds, if i choose to continue with this topic looking into these animals from the feedback could be a good starting point, namely orcas and household pets.
