WORLD OVERVIEW

THRESHOLD: SIGNAL AT THE EDGE

THRESHOLD: SIGNAL AT THE EDGE is a narrative-driven sneaking and post-industrial exploration game set in the aftermath of the collapse of the global signalling network. Civilisation has been shattered into what are known as the Silent Zones – the infrastructure still exists, but the purpose of its existence has long since dissipated.
In the EDGE-7 node (an abandoned government relay facility), residual signals have begun to resurface. Their origin is unknown, as is their intent.
Players take on the role of the last of the signal carriers, moving through these silent systems with restraint, observation, and survival at the core of their approach, gradually revealing a world defined by decay, control, and the psychological burden of maintaining order in the aftermath of collapse.
