week 10

Game player interaction design

The following is the game loop part of the class activity. I drew “HANGMAN”. At the beginning, there was a frame and an underline. The underlined part was the word that needed to be guessed in this game. The number of characters and words represented the difficulty. The word had to be guessed from 26 letters, and each letter belonging to the word indicated its position within the word. If there is none, draw a part of the little figure until the little figure is complete. The game fails or the word spelling is completed and the game is won

Personal GDD modification

At the beginning of the level, the guiding NPC was supposed to be a turtle, but after a classmate’s suggestion, it was changed to a sea anemone lady with a shape similar to that of a jellyfish lart. The turtle was abandoned because it couldn’t live in the deep sea and its diet contained jellyfish. In the game, there is an option to pick up souls to enhance oneself. I have decided that during the period when players pick up souls, they can use the light to eliminate the enemies chasing them, giving players a chance to catch their breath and triggering the plot. At the same time, it serves as a resurrection point after death.
