The game is set in an open world and is played from a first-person perspective. The player controls a character to search, collect resources, build pastures, explore the environment, and collect, raise, feed and breed various gel-like creatures called slime of different sizes and characteristics.
“Slime Ranche” at first, I only thought it was a therapeutic game. Its character design and ecosystem were also quite useful for reference. Even the image of the protagonist was similar to our game’s protagonist anchor point, but their personalities were completely opposite. To be honest, it really should have changed from a relaxation and therapeutic game. When the tarr monster appeared, I was really scared and all the successes vanished.
To be honest, if we did have 3D characters, they would probably look something like this. Those tarr monsters really made me think that this game should definitely have a “mild horror” label. It ruined my farm and infected all my slimes. Just like those NPC monsters in our game, as soon as you get close to them, you will be hurt. When you appear in their field of vision, they will go back to look for you. This process of contamination is like your breakdown and the depletion of your spirit.
The collection and operation gameplay of Slime Farm is very similar to that of our game. We can also repeatedly enter the map to obtain the special prizes we desire, to satisfy our desire for exploration and our collecting addiction.
