The chosen game that Jessie and I chose to take forward to present at Southampton during week 11 is Archive 13!
Here will be all the tasks that I completed within the next 2 weeks to make sure that we are ready to present a more fleshed-out concept for the game to the music students and allow the people who hold the event for us to get an understanding of what it is that they will be advertising next year.

My Tasks
- 3D modelling the introduction scene (allows me to practice, as this was a gap within my analysis)
- Creating in-depth mood boards for each scene of our game.
- Aid Jessie in expanding on the narrative.
- Create concept art for the alleyway scene
- Create a mood board for characters + concept art
In addition to these tasks, I started putting all our information that we already had into a presentation style form so that we have a collective area to dump all our work over the next two weeks. Also, to help Jessie find audio snippets, I made a list of audios which I felt were fitting for our game.

Mood Boards
I started the week by creating four in-depth mood boards to help Jessie and me be on the same page for the aesthetics, and it allows the people we are presenting to also get a good vision in their head for what we want the game to look like.

3D Modelling Intro Scene – Blender
On the Monday session after our presentation, I mentioned to Jessie about the potential for having a 3D aspect to our game at the start, and we both agreed that this could be a cool addition to the game. Going back to week 8, when I did a gap analysis, I had orange for 3D modelling, so it was something I wanted to practice, and that can be seen below. I followed a YouTube video to help me gain confidence, and for now, this was the 3D model that I was able to create. It will be a placeholder for the time being until we begin the full process of making the game.

Expanding the Narrative
Due to this originally being Jessie’s idea, she worked on outlining the baseline for the narrative to help give me a better understanding. From there, I was able to add some visual input of how this would work in the actual game/coming up with dialogue between characters, whilst also inputting some narrative barks which will help players progress within the game

Primary Research
Kindly, Jessie conducted a survey targeting journalism students as she had two friends who were currently studying that. The aim was to explore real-world practices, attitudes towards anonymous sources and responses to sensitive or leaked material. The feedback given will help inform the investigative systems, narrative choices and tone of Archive 13. Below were the results.
