This week we had to make a poster and a final pitch presentation.

I like the poster, I think that the perspective and lighting helps to lead focus onto the main character, who is afraid of watchful stares despite trying to act like it doesn’t bother her. However, it is quite unrefined, especially with the title.

When I made this presentation I tried my hardest to keep it short as we only had two minutes, meaning I ended up leaving a lot of details out in fear that it would be too long (which I believed it was too long), but when I did the presentation I realised I underestimated how much time 2 minutes was.
I got asked a few questions following my presentation. For example “what do you mean by almost a whole other person?”, and “how would the anxiety increase?”.
To the first one I said that shes almost another person in the mirror because she talks to herself like she’s two separate people, and the difference in personalities is supposed to represent how everyone tends to be quite different when alone in their rooms, compared to when they’re in public, but especially individuals with social anxiety.
The second question made me realise I completely forgot to mention it in the presentation. I simply responded that the NPCs “attack” the player verbally, raising the anxiety, leading to the player to seek out “quiet spaces” to deplead it and get a hint from their list.
