Following my first GDD feedback, I decided to step away from searching for inspiration on a computer screen and conduct visual research on my own. Through my primary research, I visited galleries, museums and other places where art is created or exhibited. I took pictures of any works that naturally captured my attention, without having already picked up an idea for a game. This way, I left myself free to discover my areas of interest through research.
The types of works of art I photographed included paintings, sculptures, historical objects, buildings, and modern art. I was paying particular attention to elements such as colour, texture, composition, atmosphere and the visual style itself. Seeing the artworks in person helped me notice aspects I would never have experienced online.

The photographic evidence primarily showcases my research, conducted through books and gallery visits.
In looking through my collection of photographs, I realised that what interested me were especially works with visual storytelling elements, distinct art styles, historical references, and the combination of old and modern imagery. It gave me a much more personal starting point for my project and new directions to explore through brainstorming and idea generation.
