Week 9-11: Public Playtest

Week 9–10

During Week 9 and Week 10, I mainly focused on communication and collaboration with my teammates. Based on the feedback from our previous playtesting session, we carefully reviewed the issues one by one and worked on fixing bugs as well as improving the overall gameplay experience.

A large part of the work during these two weeks involved polishing game mechanics, adjusting player interactions, and refining the flow of the game to make it feel smoother and more intuitive. We also discussed player feedback together as a team to identify which problems had the biggest impact on the user experience and prioritised those fixes first.

Through continuous iteration and testing, the game became much more stable and enjoyable compared to earlier versions.

Week 11

In Week 11, I continued polishing the game based on the feedback from the public playtest conducted during Week 10. I focused on improving the key gameplay experiences and fixing the most noticeable issues reported by players.

This stage was mainly about final refinement: optimising details, improving usability, and making the overall experience feel more complete and polished. After resolving the major problems and ensuring the game was in a stable state, I uploaded the updated version to itch.io for players to access and test more easily.

This process helped me better understand the importance of iteration, user feedback, and teamwork in game development.
