CharactersDesign:
1.Fox:

This is one of the characters in my game. Through previous studies in this module. I used an equilateral triangle to summarise the whole shape of the character, this shape makes the character look short and chubby overall, which is cuter compared to a slender shape. I designed this character using the most typical fox colour scheme, so that the player can better identify the character. I chose a thicker, more rounded brush for the outlining to make the character more rounded and cute.

2.Dog

This character follows the same design approach as my last character. For this character I used an oval shape for the overall shape of the character, still keeping with the rounded, cute character. When choosing the colours for this character, I was selfish and chose the colours of my puppy. But brown is also a common coat colour in dogs.
Poster Design:

Because at the time of designing this poster there wasn’t a lot of material to work with yet. So I chose to use the two main characters, the dog and the fox, and the name of the game as the main body of the poster. These two characters have one left hand raised and one right hand raised. So I designed these two characters one in the top left corner and one in the top right corner, and the two characters together point to the name of the game. The player’s perspective will follow the characters and focus on the name of the game.

My game contains mechanics for cooking, partying, decorating, multiplayer co-op, etc. So in the poster I included a lot of elements that could represent these. For example, the balloons, light strips and queue hats represent parties and decorations. The donut decoration on the game name and the spatula in the fox’s hand represent cooking. The multiple characters represent multi-player co-operation.
Pitch Deck:

Feedback of my Pitch Deck:

A1:Firstly I’m going to research and add the more famous mass festivals in the world (Christmas, Halloween, Chinese New Year etc). I’m adding these large festivals to the game first because they are known by most people and have a good amount of cultural information to help me investigate the customs of each festival in more depth. One It’s also easier for players to start with these familiar holidays.
A2:Decorating the community serves to create a festive atmosphere for the holidays. It is convenient for all players to be able to celebrate when they have finished their preparations. Players involved in the decorating portion of the game need to look up the customs of the holiday in the library and decorate accordingly.
A3:Players need to be online to play the game. Players can team up with each other and real friends to team up online choosing to live in the same community and become teammates.
A4:Whilst the festivals in the game are real, as the characters are all various animals, not infrequently including cows, sheep, pigs etc., I didn’t want the characters and their corresponding meats to appear in the game, so the various meats in the game are obtained from plants.
Q5:How do you avoid conflicts in the game caused by players disagreeing about the flow of the game?
A5:Firstly there is no competition as an attribute in the game, everyone helps each other out and there is plenty of time for each quest without causing the level of chaos that would result. The game only determines whether to complete the holiday preparations, will not give the player a specific score, to avoid conflicts caused by a bad score.
